"As you know this was an estate sale and I was acting as the executor which was a first for me. As well I had not been involved with the sale or purchase of a home for over 20 years. I found that Deb was able to provide significant support and guidance with regard to the listing in relation to the completion of probate and was honest in explaining what details she recommended should be qualified by my lawyer. Further, the pricing was completed quickly and explained to me fully in consideration of the market trends, the proposed new Sky Train line and other factors specific to the location of the suite. It was a fair market value assessment.

The listing was managed very well as I was updated by the team and provided direct commentary about what other realtors or their clients had said after viewing the apartment. As the apartment had under gone renovations after some water damage I was aware the "state" of the suite was not 100% which obviously does not assist the listing agent. As we progressed - which seemed very quick to me in what is/was a very slow market - I was provided an offer with full explanation. I was fully aware that the offer was below the listing price but if consideration of all of the market implications and the condition of the suite I was provided all of the information I requested to make an informed decision on proceeding or not. I did not feel pressured but supported in making my decisions.

After agreeing to the offer I was provided detailed information on how the sale was progressing as the buyers sought and obtained their financing. Deb was vigilant in ensuring some of the work completed by the restoration company was completed and demonstrated to me that not only was she my agent but she was very committed to the purchasers as well. She worked hard at having the contractors return to the suite to clean up some final issues.

So in summary, I was very pleased with all of the work and support provided by Deb and the rest of the team in pricing, listing/showing and managing the closing of the sale. I will most certainly recommend The Christie Team to my friends"
